Are you an electrician needing to complete a 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations course? This one day 18th Edition qualification at City College Plymouth is awarded by City and Guilds. The training will provide information on all the changes between the 17th and 18th edition to ensure your skills and knowledge are up to date.
On this course, you will learn:
• Introduction and Structure of BS 7671:2018
• Scope, Object and Fundamental Principles
• Assessment of general characteristics
• Protection for safety
• Selection and Erection of Equipment
• Inspection and Testing
• Special Installations and Locations
Please note, this one day course only delivers the changes between the 17th and 18th edition. You will be expected to sit the full 2 hour online examination which addresses all parts of the 18th Edition.
This qualification is aimed at practising electricians and other professionals such as consultants, surveyors etc who need to update and enhance their understanding of the IET 18th Edition. A thorough understanding of the previous 17th edition is expected.
A full, three day Wiring Regulations IET 18th Edition training course is available for those who require a more in depth course before completing the examination.
Assessment is via an online, two hour, open book multi-choice examination which will take place the day after the course delivery.
