We offer FREE masterclasses for businesses

City College Plymouth will be running a series of masterclasses as part of a collaboration with colleges and organisations across Devon and Somerset to drive skills growth in the region.

Upcoming masterclasses

  •  Performance Management of Individuals on Wednesday 15 March, 9.00am to 10.30am
  • Introduction to CSR (corporate social responsibility) also on Wednesday 15 March, 2.00pm to 3.30pm.

Performance Management of Individuals is specifically for managers or aspiring managers to support them in delivering clear and effective leadership ensuring you get the best out of a team. Introduction to CSR looks at the purpose of CSR and will help people to understand the main types of CSR and their different forms, and how organisations can integrate CSR in their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. Sign up to this masterclass here.

Flexing Your Communication Style for Success

What: communication is crucial for success and the ability to adapt this to meet specific situations can make all the difference. As a result of this masterclass, you and your staff will develop enhanced communication skills and a greater level of self-awareness. This masterclass is delivered in conjunction with Aspire Learning and Development

Topics covered: perception and our unconscious biases, the benefits of improving self-awareness; an introduction to the Insights Discovery model of behaviour; self-analysis,  creating an eight-type personal profile; understanding personal strengths, weaknesses and communication preferences; the impact my working style has on me, my work and my colleagues; adapting and connecting to those not like me; tangible actions and future commitments.
