27 February @ 2.00pm - 4.00pm
On Thursday 27 February, the PL1 Restaurant at City College Plymouth will be hosting the Care Conference 2020, when employers in the health and social care sector are invited to tell us what your industry needs. The health and social care sector is undergoing huge expansion and the South West is currently seeing a boost of £450million to help develop a more integrated care system.
City College staff are welcoming employers and businesses in this sector to help ensure that the College is equipping its students with the right knowledge and skills to meet the increase in demand. Your views are key to our curriculum development: we want to work with you to help shape the workforce of the future.
The conference will start at 2.00pm with tea and cake on arrival, which will be followed by a series of talks. Speakers on the day will include: Ann James, Chief Executive of the University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust; George Lilley, Director of Clinical Services at St Luke’s Hospice; and the College’s Principal and CEO Jackie Grubb, amongst others – see the poster for the full schedule of events.
If you would like to attend this conference and help develop the future of Plymouth’s health and care sector, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01752 305026 before Friday 21 February.
