There might be uncertainty about the future\, a lack of confidence\, or simply questions about whether College is the right choice. \nYou don’t need to have everything figured out. \nOur ‘Step into College’ event is an opportunity to explore what City College Plymouth has to offer in a relaxed\, supportive environment. It’s a chance for young people to discover practical options\, build confidence and find a route forward that feels right for them. \nStart with a conversation\nCome along to our ‘Step into College’ event on Wednesday 7 October\, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm\, and find out more about the opportunities available. \nThere’s no pressure to know exactly what you want to do. The event is about having a conversation\, exploring the possibilities and understanding the support available. \nYoung people will have the opportunity to: \n\ndiscover Pre-Apprenticeships and study programmes designed to support their next steps\nexplore practical courses linked to local careers and industries\ntry different subjects and discover where their interests could take them\nfind out about routes into employment\, Apprenticeships and further study\nlearn how College can help them develop confidence\, independence and practical skills\nmeet supportive tutors and career advisers\nask questions about College life and what to expect\nfind out about the support available before and during their studies.\n\nParents\, carers and others supporting a young person are welcome to come along too.
