DESCRIPTION:Get ready for an exhilarating culinary showdown at the Young Chef Team Challenge! A chance for aspiring young chefs eager to showcase their talent and creativity in the kitchen\, we’re calling on local school teams\, made up of three culinary wizards\, to join us in a dynamic battle of taste\, presentation\, and teamwork. \nParticipants will have the exciting challenge of rolling up their sleeves\, donning their chef whites\, and bringing their A-game as they prepare\, cook\, and serve a spectacular three-course meal\, all within a two-hour timeframe. The victorious team will not only earn the coveted title of Young Chef Team Champions with a Masterchef-style apron to match\, but will also secure a complimentary spot in our prestigious Junior Chef Academy\, an opportunity of a lifetime to further refine their skills and passion for the culinary arts. SUMMARY:Access to HE Taster Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The Access to HE team is holding Taster Sessions for adults who are thinking about what to do next academic year! \nAccess to HE courses are designed for those who are 19+ who want to progress to university\, but many students also go on to do Apprenticeships\, foundation degrees or use their new level 3 qualification to enter the workplace. The College offer Access to HE courses in a wide range of subject areas\, including; Health\, Science\, Social Work\, Counselling\, Engineering\, Education\, Humanities & History\, Social Science\, Computing\, Art\, Creative Industries\, Business\, and more! \nThese Taster Sessions are just a small sample of some of the subjects we offer as part of our courses. Each hour-long session will give you the chance to explore a different topic and consider if it’s something you’d like to pursue at level 3. There will also be staff on hand to discuss your ideas for university and provide you with guidance about the most suitable Access course for your ambitions. \nFor more information about what each taster session will involve\, please click here. \nPlease note that registrations for this event have now closed. \n
