For the good of the city
Industries that are vital to the local and national economies are facing an ever-increasing skills gap, particularly in the areas of engineering, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, science and digital technologies.
Part of the College’s vision is to see local industries develop and grow, supporting them to make the most of the opportunities being offered through the green revolution, and to maximise our status as Britain’s Ocean City.
The College has always worked closely with industry leaders and essential organisations such as the council to keep its curriculum agile and up-to-date, but with these new and exciting T Levels, the College is vowing to work even closer with people across the city to make sure we are getting it right for the sake of our local employers.
Close partnerships aren’t just essential for business growth, but with the world facing so many challenges, we need to work together to overcome the threat of climate change and to protect the world we want the workforce of tomorrow to inherit.
Watch the video below to see how the College is working with organisations and businesses such as Plymouth and Devon Chamber, Plymouth City Council and Alderman Tooling, to help Plymouth achieve its carbon-reduction goals.
