Free Online Health & Social Care Courses
As part of its efforts to support local people as the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the economy, City College Plymouth is offering a range of distance learning courses that are free for anyone aged 19 and over.
Across the globe, demand for health and social care workers continues to grow and here in the South West, a £450million boost to help develop a more integrated care system is expected to see the demand for skilled workers increase. The College’s suite of health and social care distance learning courses are ideal for anyone thinking of entering this rewarding sector or for those already working in a health or social care role who wish to develop or diversify their skills.
Created by the NCFE (formerly known as the Northern Council for Further Education) these level two certificates are delivered entirely online and can be completed at a time that best suits the individual. Learners will be fully supported by a member of the College’s Care curriculum team and will receive a formal qualification on completion.
