Plymouth’s Greatest Dancer
Do you have what it takes to be crowned Plymouth’s greatest dancer? Could you be the next Darcey Bussell or maybe the next Ashley Banjo?
For the first time in the history of the College, we’re on the search for the next big name in dance, and we are offering a cash prize of £150 for the winner!
Whatever your style, if you are aged 14 to 20 and you live in Devon or Cornwall, we’re inviting you to show off your moves in our virtual dance competition.
Whether your passion is ballet, tap, jazz, modern, street, urban or contemporary, this competition is open to you. You don’t need to have had any formal dance training to enter: if you’ve got the moves, we want to see them!
Simply record yourself performing some original choreography to the song Survivor by 2WEI and then upload your video using the form below.
Performances need to be between one and two minutes in length and you can choose any part of the song to dance to. Start at the beginning, middle or towards the end of the track, it’s up to you!
Entries close at 5.00pm on Friday 14 August.
The winner will receive £150 in cash and there is a prize of £50 for the runner-up. What are you waiting for? Get dancing!
Terms and conditions:
By entering this competition, you are agreeing to its terms and conditions and give permission to City College Plymouth to contact you with information about dance courses.
