Fees & Funding

Most students can get help with their childcare costs, through the Learner Support Fund or the Care to Learn Fund. So please do give Student Funding a ring on 01752 305300.

What’s more, all three and four year olds, and some two year olds, are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare each week. You can find out more at:

ME2 Funding for 2 year olds

Early Education Funding for 3-4 year olds

If you’re a member of staff, or work elsewhere, you may be able to use childcare vouchers. These help you to save money on tax. City College staff members can find out more on the Computershare site.

We know it can be difficult to keep a track of expenses, so we send out a monthly statement. Our fees are increased annually in August. The nursery will give parents and carers one month’s notice of an increase in fees.

Please note there will be a £50 registration fee when registering your child at Curious Kittens. It is payable at enrolment and at the start of each new academic year, and non-refundable.

The government website Childcare Choices is an up-to-date source of information around support with childcare costs. It gives guidance on all currently available government childcare offers in one place.
