Before the day

Booking form
Once a booking has been made, you will be sent pre-visit information, photo consent forms, the generic STEM Hub risk assessment and a booking confirmation form. Please ensure you have returned your confirmation form, and inform us of any changes to this iPPrnformation, before your visit.

Photo consent
We would appreciate if you would distribute photo consent forms to give us permission to take photos of your visit to be used in our printed and online publicity. We are happy to post printed copies of the forms on request.

Risk assessments
A copy of the generic STEM Hub risk assessment is sent to you once a booking is made. Activity specific risk assessments are available on request. Safety notes are sent once a booking is made, and are available to download below to assist you with creating your visit risk assessment.

Getting here

Parking
If arriving by coach then drop-off and pick-up must be at the bus stop on the College’s slip road accessed from Paradise Road. There are no parking facilities available for coaches on site at the College.

If arriving by car or minibus, students can be dropped off by the main entrance of the Kings Road campus. Parking is very limited on-site and must be pre-requested. Please state any parking needs on the booking confirmation form and we shall contact you with details. For more information, please see our Visitor Parking Map.

Arrival
Please report to the College’s main reception to sign-in. You will be greeted by a member of staff who will take you to the STEM Hub. The Hub is on the first floor of the building and elevators are available for any access needs.

During your visit

How to pay
You will be sent an invoice for your trip after your visit for the number of pupils that attended on the day. If you wish to pay on the day then this can be completed by cash, cheque or card with the STEM Hub Officer.

Coats and bags
Space is provided for coat and bag storage. Please note that there is no facility for storage of valuables, such as phones or tablets. The College accepts no liability for loss of, damage to or theft from any personal belongings or other items brought onto the College. Personal belongings and other items are left at the owner’s risk.

Lunch breaks
The Hub is able to offer space for students to eat their packed lunch. Students will not be able to visit/use the College’s student refectory.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your visit please provide at least two weeks’ notice before your visit date. If a visit is cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice, the College reserves the right to charge you cancellation costs to cover both administrative and contractual liabilities.

Photos and Filming
