Georgina Clements took part in the Project SEARCH course at City College Plymouth and hasn’t looked back!
“I chose to study at City College because I wanted to push myself to see what I could achieve and Project SEARCH seemed like a really interesting course.
“The programme has provided me with some great work experience that I never would have gained on my own. I’ve worked in hospital in various roles from the histology department to the post room in the pharmacy. I have enjoyed working in the different environments as each one is completely different from the last meaning I’ve gained loads of new skills.
“Since starting at the College I have changed a lot. I’ve become more confident and am able to talk to new people in new places.
“I am currently applying for jobs and hope to gain employment within the NHS. I would tell anyone who wants to do this course to go for it, you won’t regret it.”
