Apprentice Electronics Engineer

Salary per week:
- Preparation of components for assembly.
- Product assembly.
- Assistance with inspection and quality control.
- Testing of products and cables, including some radio testing.
- Assistance with documentation.
- Board level diagnostics
- Maintaining a high standard of component care.
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
Qualities and skills:
Flair for electronics/technically minded, preferably with an interest in audio/sound engineering
- Willingness to learn
- Good practical skills
Supporting manufacture, technical support and R&D. Responsibilities and remuneration will develop in accordance with capability. Though predominantly workshop based, the role may involve on-site support to customers worldwide.
The candidate must be willing to undergo Basic Personnel Security Screening (BPSS)
