Duties:

Are you looking to develop your career in Construction ? Alongside your academic learning ? We are looking for exceptional candidates with passion and enthusiasm to join our Bricklaying and Construction team. This vacancy is being managed by City College Plymouth, who will deal with your initial application.

Our team works with skill and accuracy on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial construction projects. Armada delivers a high standard of construction services from the initial design stage to the finished product.

We require our workforce to be professional and uphold safe practices at all times, work consistently and maintain high standards taking pride and ownership in the work produced. It is essential that our workers are reliable and communicate well within the team, with other trades and with the clients.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Attend College and maintain studies
  • Maintain safety aspects
  • House keeping
  • Supporting team members
  • Learning and skill management
  • Health and safety awareness
  • General labouring
  • Working as a team
  • Observing other members of the team

Training:

All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.

Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components;

  • NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Bricklaying
  • Technical Cert
  • Functional Skills maths and English if required
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
