9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. One in three Saturdays 9am to 4pm (where working a Saturday a lieu day is given in the week), Total hours per week: 40
The apprenticeship role is part of the Property Management department – a tight knit team that looks after the running of tenancies and properties. The apprenticeship will involve assisting the Property Managers in their roles and carrying out general administrative duties within the Property Management department. Full on-the-job training will be given, alongside the apprenticeship mentoring.
Responsibilities will gradually be increased over to time to include the following:
- Assisting in the preparation and conduction of property move ins and move outs.
- Assisting in managing property maintenance issues.
- Dealing with Landlords and Tenant enquiries.
- Assisting in the tenancy renewals process.
- Dealing with contractors.
- Key management
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
Qualities and skills:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are critical.
– The ability to prioritise workloads.
– Good organisational skills.
– The ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
The successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment. They will thrive in working to deadlines and providing solutions. The Company is looking for robust, hard working individuals that care about the people and properties they are entrusted with and take pride in delivering an excellent level of service.
Driving Licence is preferred.
The successful applicant will receive full training and potentially develop the skills and experience to become a deputy Property Manager, with the potential for a full career in the residential property industry. All permanent employees within the business are encouraged to complete the industry standard Residential Lettings and Property Management Level 3 qualification and this is funded by the Company.
