Duties:

Successful delivery of the SAM Customer Support Service, by:

  • Listening to customers to understand their issues and needs.
  • Answering customer inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing the information sought.
  • Resolving customer problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Fulfilling customer requests by clarifying desired information; completing smartcard transactions; forwarding requests.
  • Maintaining the SAM call centre database by entering information and providing reports to clients.
  • Monitoring the SAM software platform to ensure it remains operational and reporting any issues as they arise.
  • Assisting the SAM Office Manager in the running of the SAM Office.

Training:

All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
