We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Apprentice chef who is looking to develop themselves in the kitchen and learn under the head chef. Within our employment you will be assisted in your development and progression by the head chef and business owner.
As a Trainee Chef you will earn as you learn. You will learn everything you need to know about working in a professional kitchen. You will be required to assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food within our newly renovated tearoom/restaurant @badgersholtdartmoor.
An in house apprenticeship is a fantastic way to develop your chef skills in a fully supportive and professional environment whilst earning money. As a
Trainee Chef you will need to be passionate, focused and totally committed. You will receive training by our team of dedicated professionals who will help you develop, achieve your goals and to be the best.
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components;
NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert,
Functional Skills Maths and English,
Employee Rights and Responsibilities,
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.
All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you’ll receive a nationally recognised qualification and have the opportunity to be promoted to Chef de partie and further
Ensure you are up to date on 14 main allergens, and understand that this role will require hard work and focus.
