A passion for food and plating at a small bistro in Ermington. Assisting the Head chef and having an experienced mentor to develop your kitchen skills. Understanding flavours and food combinations as well as creating new dishes and new concepts.
Personal development of all aspects of running a kitchen from due diligence to ordering and scratch cooking. Learning and understanding how to become a great team member and developing working relationships.
Ideal candidate would be passionate about food and comfortable in a busy kitchen environment.
Willingness to undertake and learn new skills and push towards becoming a great chef.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a young passionate chef to take the next step into professional cookery.
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
