Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Total hours per week: 40.00

Duties:

Assisting the customer service team with administrative tasks, such as;

  • Registering the boilers we install and update the relevant spreadsheets and system
  • Managing the customer service database we hold and provide support with administrative tasks in relation to this
  • Checking and maintaining the main inbox and direct the emails to the relevant member of the team
  • Raising purchase orders for materials

Assisting the customer service team with customer relating tasks, such as;

  • Liaising with customers and taking messages or passing the them to the relevant member of the team
  • Managing the voicemails and passing messages to the relevant member of the team
  • Calling customers to confirm their appointments

Training:

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional skills if required

This is a brand new, bespoke apprenticeship to City College Plymouth. Your core apprenticeship will be based on customer service, with additional business administration assessments to concrete the purpose of your role and learning. All training will be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the employer throughout the 15-18 month apprenticeship. For this apprenticeship you will only have to attend College for the induction sessions and any relevant exams, otherwise all of your learning and assessments will be carried out at the workplace.
