  • You will assist with the planned maintenance schedule
  • You will assist with breakdowns onsite
  • Assist with diagnosing faults
  • Assist with stock control of fixture and fittings needed
  • Ensure compliance with PSH health and safety policy
  • Assist with complaint resolution
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders including the public
  • Document work undertaken / daily activities and provide a daily activity report
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as requested

You will complete the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship alongside this job role, following the electrical technician pathway.

You will be required to support the business and operational requirements of modern integrated engineered production plant and services, Electrical Systems and Process Control Technicians and Electromechanical Technicians will need to apply a range of conventional skills and knowledge to undertake engineering activities on a selection of electromechanical and process control plant, systems and equipment.

This apprenticeship is 42 months long with one day per week required at College – City College Plymouth.

Desired qualifications


The ideal candidate will need to hold English and maths qualifications equivalent to A-C/4-9 grades. A pass qualification in science would be desirable.

Things to consider

This vacancy is across 15 – 20 different sites from Launceston outwards. You will be permanently partnered with the areas team leader. Due to the location/nature of the work, the candidate will need to hold a drivers license and have access to a vehicle for work each day.
