Metal Fabrication Apprentice

MSubs Ltd. are looking to recruit a highly motivated apprentice to be part of our team to build world leading subsea systems. Training will provide challenges but will equip you with the skills required to produce quality components and structures.
The scope of the work will be wide and varied and you will learn the skills of TIG Welding, MIG Welding, bending, folding, rolling and general fabrication to a high degree for complex subsea systems.
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
Qualities and skills:
• We want to meet with people who can demonstrate a strong aptitude for and interest in technical-based subject matter.
• An attention for detail
• A passion for Engineering or for a career in Engineering Services
To apply you’ll need a minimum GCSE Grade C or 4 in English & Maths, or equivalent.
Level 3 qualification and future position with the company.
We are based in Estover and so please consider transport options.
