Trainee position learning to become a product development chef. To make food products for our customer requirements. Which will involve working with ingredient, customer requirements, quality attributes.
Samples, testing, taste panels, verifications, collection of ingredient from the factory.
Clean as you go including dishes and be able to work on own inactivate.
Using domestic and commercial equipment
Traceability and administration
Handling of raw meat
Data capture and analysis
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
•Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.
•All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
Qualities and skills:
Friendly and has an interest for food.
Minimum level 2 literacy and Numeracy C and above.
Computer skills office, outlook, word, excel.
Full time position potential, possible move into production, technical.
English speaking to minimal level 2 will be working in a multicultural diverse environment.
