Whilst many things are restricted right now, your future isn’t one of them
18 January 2021 | College News
We are pleased to announce the plans for our latest virtual recruitment event, which is due to take place on Saturday 6 February.
With a focus on skills and careers, the Online Open Day will see curriculum staff take part in eight themed sessions that will be streamed live via Facebook and YouTube, offering a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have about a particular sector or a specific job. With so many things in life restricted because of COVID-19 at the moment, the College is committed to ensuring your future isn’t one of them, with sessions focusing on the prospects and opportunities in the local area.
In addition to live-streamed sessions on social media, participants will be able to access a wealth of video content spanning different courses, Apprenticeships and information about the support on offer, right here on the College’s website. The videos will be available from the homepage throughout the day and have been created with the intention of helping anyone who is thinking about their next steps to make the decision that is right for them, and if you have any questions, the College’s Information team will be available throughout the day via the website’s chat function or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
As this event is open to all ages, it is aimed at anyone considering a career change or looking to further their current prospects, as well as those aged 15 to 18 who are considering their options after school or sixth form – and you don’t even need to leave your sofa.
If you know which course you’d like to apply for, securing your place has never been easier. All you need to do is text APPLY to 66777 and a member of the College Information team will contact you to talk about your application and can complete this for you over the phone. After that, you can sit back and know your future is in good hands. If you are a school-leaver who is yet to receive their predicted GCSE grades, a member of the team can still help you to reserve a place.
