Thursday 12 February 2026, 6.00pm

Congratulations, you have been invited to the College’s annual Apprenticeship Awards!

With guest speaker … Steve Davis!

Steve Davis is one of snooker’s all-time greats and the sport’s first professional millionaire. He dominated the 1980s, winning six World Championships and spending seven seasons as world number one. He is especially remembered for the dramatic 1985 “black-ball” final against Dennis Taylor, one of sport’s most-watched moments.

Across his career, Davis won 28 ranking titles and compiled over 350 century breaks, remaining in the world’s top 16 even at age 50. Today, he is a popular speaker and broadcaster, known for his engaging stories, insight into elite performance, and regular work with the BBC as a commentator and presenter.
