SHOW THE WORLD YOU CARE

It takes a special type of person to work in the care sector, but if you’re that person, you can be guaranteed a rewarding career in which you will truly make a difference to people’s lives.

Why health and social care

Together the health and social care sectors employ one in ten of the working population here in the UK. Adult social care employs almost 1.5 million alone, with another 1.4 million employed by the NHS.

As people live longer there is an increasing demand for skilled health and social care staff to meet this ageing population, with an estimated 500,000 more care worker roles to be created by 2030. There is also a growing number of opportunities to support younger adults living with learning difficulties and other disabilities.

With the right skills and training, you will be able to find employment in most towns and cities across the UK. All of our courses combine classroom learning with hands-on experience and you will be provided with valuable insight into the sector during your placements to ensure you are ready to progress to higher education or into employment.
