As has been reported by the press, there was a fire on the seventh floor of the tower block at City College Plymouth’s Kings Road campus on the evening of Tuesday 24 March.

While there is some damage to the site, fortunately it was contained to one room. The College remains open to support the children of key workers, students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and students with an assigned social worker.

The College would like to thank the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service for its quick response and the actions of its crews who extinguished the fire.
