Since the Stone Age, humans have expressed themselves through art. Let City College help unlock your talents and ignite your passions.

Why art and design
Art and design is a huge contributor to the overall creative arts sector, a sector that is worth approximately £10 billion to the UK economy. City College has several courses that are designed for those hoping to pursue a career in art either through gaining a place to study art at university, or providing them with the necessary skills to enter the world of work.
Art and design encompasses a huge number of career and study opportunities depending on your specialism. People who study art go on to work as fine artists, illustrators, fashion designers, photographers and teachers, while others go into roles such as marketing or media that still demand high levels of creative ability.
The College also offers a selection of part-time and short courses that are perfect for developing a talent or trying a new hobby.
