A practical session, exploring the ultrastructure of small things using microscopes (microscopy) – whether you are an aspiring student or simply curious about the wonders of life at the cellular level, then this taster session would be a great one to attend!

The science behind optical illusions! We will explore why we can look at the same image and see different things. What does this mean for us in real life?

Learn about the random nature of radioactive decay. We will be simulating this process using dice, exploring concepts such as half-life.
