What's it all about?

Would you like to complete a basic plastering course? This ‘hands-on’ plastering training course at City College Plymouth is suitable for all DIY enthusiasts or those who would like an introduction to plastering techniques. This may also suit people from other trades that wish to learn new skills that might enhance their profession.

Course information

All of the sessions are practical-based and will take place in our modern and well equipped workshops. The sessions can be adapted to suit your individual requirements.

The only entry requirements are that you will need to provide and wear your own protective clothing and footwear whilst in our fully equipped workshop.

There are no formal assessments on this course.

There are several different full-time courses to continue your learning within the construction industry, including painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing, electrical, brickwork and carpentry.
