What's it all about?

This training day is a prerequisite for professionals who wish to ‘extend the range’ of the appliances they can work on within their ACS core qualification. For example; a candidate may cookers (CKR1) but don’t have fires (HTR1). The candidate must complete this training to gain entry for their chosen appliance assessment.

Course information

The delivery will be a mix of classroom-based and practical training as specified by the awarding body’s scheme of work. 

You will need to wear standard personal protective equipment. 

The entry requirements for this training day are to hold a current ACS core qualification, CCN1, for a minimum of 12 months and be Gas Safe Registered.

Proof of this certification will be required to conform to entry requirements. 

There are no assessments to this training day.
