Course information

A production manager, a sound engineer, a lighting designer or rigger – these are just some of the exciting jobs you can train for by enrolling on our Media, Broadcast and Production T-Prep Foundation Programme. You’ll learn the technical and creative skills needed to bring events and productions to life, and you’ll gain hands-on experience in the latest tools and technologies used in the industry.

There are endless opportunities waiting for you – from working in world-renowned theatres to bringing live music to life on cruise ships to being part of the magic at festivals, and more. You will develop core knowledge and understanding of:

In our experience, to be successful on this course, you will need a genuine interest in live events, content creation, and media-based roles

You should also have achieved a grade 3 or above in GCSE English, or hold a Level 1 Functional Skills qualification in English.

Assessment will be through written and practical coursework, group work, presentations and analysis.

On successful completion of the T Level, you may progress to:

  • employment in a variety of jobs, for example, content creator, podcaster, digital marketer or content editor.
