Students Excel at the Learning Destination of Choice

The wait is finally over as students and staff celebrated another remarkable year of level 3 vocational exam results at the city’s learning destination of choice.

Over 900 students, mostly aged between 16 and 18, studied subjects ranging from engineering and childcare to performing arts and sport. A number of the College’s BTEC programmes achieved a 100% pass rate, including engineering, applied science, sport and childcare.

College Chief Executive, Jackie Grubb, said: “We are immensely proud of our students for showcasing remarkable resilience and dedication throughout their studies.

“Here at City College Plymouth, our proudest moments stem from the success of our students. Their hard work, coupled with the unwavering guidance provided by our lecturers and support teams, have paved the way for fantastic exam results.

“Our level 3 students collecting their results today will progress onto a range of exciting opportunities including universities, Apprenticeships and employment. They’ve gained the skills and knowledge to make a real positive impact on the local labour market.

“As our students move ahead into their futures, I would like to send them all my best wishes on behalf of the College.”
