READY FOR THE SPOTLIGHT

Do you dream of the spotlight? Or do you see yourself as the one controlling the spotlight? If your passion is performing arts or theatre production, you have come to the right place.

Why performing arts and production arts

Our lecturers have lived and breathed the performance industries and are now passionate about seeing you meet your potential. Their connections and lived experiences will not only develop your particular talents, but you leave the College ready to enter this competitive world.

At City College, we believe the best way to develop talent and skill is through doing, which is why both our students are given multiple opportunities to perform, ably supported by our future lighting, sound and stage technicians who also prepare for their future careers by working on as many live events as possible.

As well as post-16 courses, the College has meticulously designed higher education courses that would suit someone looking to carve out a successful and long lasting career, with many possible career options to pursue on completion.

As the performance sector relies on working with other industries, we actively encourage collaborations with multiple subject areas, giving our future performers and technicians the chance to develop other skills that are not only crucial to this industry, but are actively sought by employers in other industries.
