BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport
Maddi Curno, who completed her BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport in partnership with Plymouth Argyle Football Club, is a shining example of balancing academics with her passion at City College Plymouth. Maddi earned a Distinction Star (D*) and is now set to continue her journey at Plymouth Marjon University, where she will study Secondary PE Teaching.
Reflecting on her experience, Maddi shared, “It was really good, I had a really good course. It took two years, and I did it alongside Plymouth Argyle, so I played football quite a bit. It was a really good balance of studying and playing football as well.”
The unique partnership between City College Plymouth and Plymouth Argyle allowed Maddi to pursue her academic goals while staying connected to her love for football. This balance not only enhanced her learning experience but also prepared her for a future career in physical education.
