Level 1 Construction and the Built Environment – Hard Hat Ready
Nuwan, aged 42, brought with him a wealth of experience from his background in construction when he enrolled on the Level 1 Construction and the Built Environment – Hard Hat Ready course.
Coming from a construction background, Nuwan’s goal was to expand his understanding and update his knowledge in the rapidly evolving construction industry. And, he knew that this course was the key to take his career to new heights.
“It’s important to keep your knowledge up to date in this industry and I wanted to do that through a course. It’s hands-on and gives you all the information you need to start your career in construction.”
Nuwan spent his first few days getting to grips with the Level 1 Construction course with Kier, a tier one contractor, and was looking forward to getting hands-on with the equipment in the new Hard Hat Ready Centre.
From carpentry and joinery to painting and decorating, the five-week course gives students the opportunity to dive into a range of sectors in industry, giving them a taste of everything the field has to offer.
Looking ahead, Numan’s future plan is firmly set on establishing a significant presence in the construction sector, leveraging the knowledge and skills gained from the course.
