What's it all about?

Are you an electrician needing to complete a 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations course? This intensive three day 18th Edition qualification at City College Plymouth is awarded by City and Guilds. The training will provide a sound and thorough grounding in all aspects of the regulations focusing on installation design, inspection, testing and supervision. City & Guilds 2382-22.

Please note, to support you with this course, you will require a copy of BS7671:2018, Amendment 2:2022, IET Wiring Regulations (ISBN 978-1-83953-218-4).

Course information

The course is scheduled over three consecutive days and will introduce you to the definitive standards of the electrical industry with respect to safe use and operation of electrical systems and equipment as laid down in the latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

This qualification is approved for candidates aged 16 or above.
This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians and other professionals such as consultants and surveyors who need to update and enhance their understanding of the IET Wiring Regulations to the latest edition.

Assessment is via an online, two hour, open book multi-choice examination which will take place the day after the three day course delivery.
