What's it all about?

This course is perfect for adult students (aged 19+) who would like to improve their English to get ready for work in the UK, an Apprenticeship or a further College course.

You will attend College for two half-day sessions per week for 12 weeks.

Course information

The course includes a core programme of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). 12 week blocks are run for each of the following modules:

  • speaking and listening
  • reading
  • writing.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

You will be assessed by Edexcel ESOL exams (Entry Levels and Level 1).

This course will prepare you for progression on to other courses at the College, an Apprenticeship or employment.
