The independence and community skills study programme at City College Plymouth is for young people with severe learning difficulties or disabilities. It’s ideal for those who need to learn within a supported environment, and who want to develop their skills to prepare for community work. Our dedicated staff give a high level of support, allowing you to thrive in all aspects of College life and the wider community. The course allows you to develop English and maths skills, social skills, self-confidence, and skills for independent living.
