What's it all about?

Are you aged between 14 and 16 and passionate about music? Whether you’re dreaming of a career as a producer or just looking for an exciting after-school activity, our Music Production Academy could be perfect for you.

Join us one evening a week, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to enhance your beat-making skills and creativity.

Course information

Throughout this course, you will:

  • improve your techniques in music production
  • explore and express your musical creativity through production
  • build beats, twist synths, record your instrument, and play with effects creatively
  • connect with like-minded young producers and become part of the College community.
Over six weeks, you’ll work with our professional music instructors in state-of-the-art facilities. You’ll perform a variety of musical styles, culminating in a special performance where you’ll showcase your talents in bands formed during the course.
We will provide all necessary equipment and instruments. However, you are welcome to bring your own instrument.

You will need to be aged 14 to 16 and have a genuine interest in developing your music production skills across composition, mixing and sound design.

This programme is suitable for all ability levels, but to get the most out of it, we recommend you have at least six months of music related experience.

There are no exams for this course. Instead, you will complete a final performance that will be observed.
