Project SEARCH is a unique opportunity for young people with learning disabilities in Plymouth and surrounding areas, who are serious about getting into paid work. It is a partnership between City College, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Serco and Pluss. You will develop your employment skills by working in real jobs at Derriford Hospital. You will be supported to experience three different work areas as you learn the skills that employers are looking for. As well as working in the hospital, you will be expected to complete related coursework. Experienced teaching and employment advisory staff will support you. On successful completion, you may progress into paid employment, Apprenticeships or further individualised vocational training.
