What's it all about?

With only 10% of children with special educational needs (SEN) attending mainstream schools, it is vital that they are given as much support as possible. This level 3 course gives an insight into the various factors that impact the development of children and young people from birth.

You will learn about current legislation that informs working practices, and examine how to incorporate the perspectives of children, young people, and caregivers into learning development services through reflective practice. Understand strategies on how to guide children and young people towards positive outcomes while addressing any attitudes or behaviours that may hinder their learning opportunities.
