What's it all about?

This course supports students to gain sector specific skills through accredited vocational qualifications. It develops core competencies like digital literacy, self-management, and teamwork while building independence in learning. Students are exposed to vocational contexts such as hospitality, construction, or IT, and supported in making informed decisions about future employment or training.

  • English and maths 
  • personal development  
  • The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

In order to be successful on this course, students will need to have completed an entry level three programme.

The course is assessed via coursework and completion of a workbook.

Upon successful completion, students may progress to a range of full-time level 1 or 2 study programmes at the College.
