What's it all about?

This intensive programme supports learners in transitioning into sustained paid work or apprenticeships. It includes extended placements with external employers, supported by on- site job coaches and personalised development plans. Learners are expected to manage daily routines, follow workplace instructions, and develop independence in commuting and communication. The course includes functional English and maths as well as tutorials focusing on resilience, self awareness, and employability. Each placement is tailored to the learner’s strengths and interests, and regular reviews help to refine career goals. The
programme promotes dignity through meaningful work and long-term employability outcomes.

The course covers:

  • work placements 
  • English and maths 
  • independent travel training.

In order to be successful on this course, you will need to have completed an entry level three programme.

The course is assessed via coursework and completion of a workbook.

Upon successful completion you may progress to paid employment.
