What's it all about?

This part-time massage course will give you the specialist skills you need to carry out treatments for massage therapies. The course includes body massage, stone therapy and Indian head massage.

This course is fast paced and you will need to be committed to undertaking a minimum of two hours a week for home study to support your development.
Once enrolled on this course you will be provided with the required home learning work packages and will learn the core massage therapies to enable you to practice as a massage therapist in industry. 

Course information

This qualification covers a very wide range of skills and knowledge required for working in the beauty sector, including: health and safety; promotion of products and services in the salon; anatomy and physiology; and maintaining personal health and wellbeing.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course. However, in order for you to succeed you will need to have a keen interest in the beauty sector. 

This course will be assessed via practical observation, assignment completion and online exams. 

On successful completion you may be able to progress to the a Level 3 Diploma in Body and Spa Therapy.
