What's it all about?

The Level 5 Project Management qualification is designed for practising middle managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owners. It is aimed at leaders looking to effectively manage projects, although the qualification is also open to those wishing to build on their general management skills.

Course information

Our qualifications are broken down into units and relevant topics aligned to the level and qualification. This qualification has the following two core units: 

  • managing projects to achieve results 
  • conducting a management project.

To be successful on this course, you must satisfy the College that: 

  • the programme is relevant to your personal development plan 
  • you have the ability to cope with the academic demands of the course 
  • you are a student member of the CMI (within one month of course enrolment) 
  • you are aware of the amount of work necessary to complete the programme successfully and can demonstrate sufficient motivation to produce work of sufficient quality to agreed deadlines.

The qualification is assessed via coursework.

Upon successful completion, you can progress to a range of business and management courses at the College.
