What's it all about?

This qualification will enable you to develop a knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness – including alcohol – and its potential effects on individuals and others.

The course covers – Develop an Awareness of Substance Misuse.  

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

This qualification is assessed via an internally assessed and externally quality assured portfolio of evidence.

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to Level 2 Awards or Diplomas in Health, or Health and Social Care. It may also be useful to those studying qualifications in the following sectors: counselling, childcare, sport and recreation, community work, youth work, or volunteering.
