Underpinning this qualification are broad industry skills and a sound knowledge of the fashion, textiles and upholstery industries.
You will be introduced to stitching skills using industrial machines; pattern design, making and cutting; and creative illustration of your own patterns and styles. A range of techniques and methods are introduced, and industry requirements for the various careers within the textiles industry presented.
