The Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness is designed to provide you with essential knowledge about mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and dementia. This course is ideal for those looking to support individuals in both professional and personal settings while promoting mental wellbeing.

Course information

You will gain:

  • a deeper understanding of mental health conditions and their impact
  • skills to recognise signs of mental health challenges and provide appropriate support
  • awareness of stress management techniques and coping strategies

  • confidence to help create a supportive and stigma-free environment.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

You will complete a workbook, which will be assessed and then reviewed through Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).

On successful completion of this course, you could progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Counselling).
