Outstanding International Students!

The College holds a glittering annual Awards Ceremony at which outstanding achievements of some of the College’s students are celebrated. Every year one of the College’s international students is nominated to receive the award of the Most Outstanding International Student, recognising academic or cultural success. Here are some of our previous winners:

"Throughout his year at the college Kevin demonstrated great dedication to his work, commitment to his studies, and an eagerness to learn. He was at all times diplomatic and respectful and set a good example for his peers. His teachers commented that it was a privilege to teach him.''

"Victoria joined the College in September last year to study our one year pre-University foundation course for international students.  She came to us with a very high graduating score from a top school in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and from the start she was a conscientious, committed and high performing student in the group.  She maintained this high level of achievement throughout the year, achieving an overall Distinction.  She has made the most of her time so far at the College, making new international friends, and spent her Summer learning Mandarin in Vietnam.  Victoria has now progressed to stage 1 of the two year Foundation Degree in Accounting and Finance."

“Ramesh completed the one year International Foundation Course here at the College in 2008, earning an overall Distinction. He then progressed to study for a Foundation Degree in Software Development, which he has completed with an overall mark of 60%. He took the Web and e-business optional modules in his second year and produced a working website for a College department which is now in use.”

“Robin was nominated as he had the highest aggregate marks of any student on his course. He was awarded a Distinction in his Foundation Degree in Accounting & Finance and has also achieved a first class Honours Degree in Accounting & Finance at Plymouth University. He also received the Francis Clark Prize as the best third year Accounting & Finance student.”

“Emil is an exceptional student in terms of his maturity, commitment and ability. After achieving a Distinction in his Foundation Degree in Business, Emil went on to be awarded a first class Honours Degree in Business Administration by Plymouth University.”

“After achieving very good grades studying A Levels at the College, Phuong was awarded a 50% scholarship to study for a BA in Business and Accounting at Exeter University.”
