This flexible short course breaks down the fundamentals of fitness and healthy living in a practical, supportive environment tailored to your goals.

Course information

What you’ll learn … 

  • Principles of Healthy Living: understand how diet, exercise, rest, and lifestyle habits impact physical and mental wellbeing. 
  • Active Lifestyle Choices: discover how to build sustainable physical activity into daily routines safely and effectively. 
  • Personal Goal Setting: learn how to set achievable health and fitness goals for yourself or to support others in the community. 

There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however you will need to be passionate about building your skills in this area. 

You will complete your work in a classroom environment. The work will be assessed on an internal unit-by-unit basis. 

Upon successful completion, you may progress onto the following level 2 courses at the College:
