What's it all about?

The course will provide you with the necessary skills to enable you to successfully provide eyelash and eyebrow tinting services safely and in a professional manner.

Course information

On this course you will learn how to tint the lashes and brows safely and effectively, as well as re-shape the eyebrows. It will also support you to develop communication skills by covering the use of a variety of consultation techniques to establish the treatment outcomes required.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however a good level of both the written and spoken English language is required, along with a keen interest in the beauty industry and a positive attitude.

As part of this qualification you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence. A portfolio will confirm the knowledge, understanding and skills that you have learnt. It may be in electronic or paper format.

Your assessor will provide guidance on how to prepare the portfolio of evidence and how to show practical achievement and understanding of the knowledge required to successfully complete this qualification.

Practical assessments will be carried out on peers in the class and on external clients.

You will be required to complete one external exam paper.

Following successful completion of this course you could progress onto a level 2 beauty course or an Apprenticeship.
